280 pupils from all levels of primary school voted for the 34th “Prix Des Incorruptibles”, a literary prize awarded by children to the best books of the year according to their age category 📖
The vote was taken after reading all the books selected throughout the school year, at the following levels: Preschool / CP / CE2/CM1 and CM2/6e
Voting took place in 3 different ways :
- The youngest children circled the cover of their favourite book
- the CP/CE1 pupils voted by a show of hands
- the older children (from CE2 upwards) were able to take part in an election and vote count based on the rules of French elections, in line with their citizenship education programme!
The votes were sent to France, and we’re eagerly awaiting the national results!
This event gave rise to some rich and fascinating literary exchanges, so see you next year for the 35th edition of the prize ☺️!
