The Sports Association (AS) plays an important role in the lives of secondary school students, from 6e to Terminale. Open to everyone, it gives students the opportunity to take part in physical and sporting activities in an educational, friendly and dynamic environment.
Beyond sport itself, the AS promotes essential values such as respect, solidarity, commitment, perseverance and team spirit. It also encourages independence, initiative and personal development.
The LFO is affiliated with the French National School Sport Union (UNSS). This year, 49 registered students have taken part in a range of activities, including volleyball, multisport raid, climbing, basketball and sports reporting.
These experiences allow students to develop not only sporting skills, but also valuable personal and civic skills. This year, 20 certifications may also be awarded to students who have shown particular commitment as young referees or young sports reporters.
Students are actively involved in the running of the AS. They take initiatives, help organise tournaments and prepare social events for members.
This involvement helps them develop a sense of responsibility, teamwork skills and a stronger commitment to the school community.
