The French school in Oslo was established more than 50 years ago. The school, which has around 680 students, from preschool to baccalaureate, follows the French curriculum approved by the French Ministry of Education. The school is also approved by the Norwegian authorities in accordance with the Education Law.

The LFO is looking for replacement teachers for primary and secondary schools throughout the year. These vacancies are aimed at people who are already resident in Norway at the time of application.

Applications are welcome from people wishing to replace elementary school teachers who have a French national education diploma, or experience to compensate for the absence of a diploma.
Candidates wishing to substitute teach in secondary schools, and holding at least a bachelor’s degree in their subject, are invited to apply in the subjects and languages listed below:
Subjects taught in the school: Mathematics, Life and Earth Sciences (Biology), Physics-Chemistry, French, History-Geography, Civics, PE, Plastic Arts, Music, Philosophy, Economics and Social Sciences, Technology.
Modern languages taught at the school : German, English, Spanish, Norwegian.
These shifts are generally well-suited to students on exchange from university for 1 or 2 semesters, with a lighter, more flexible schedule. Previous experience with children is desirable.
The team of substitute workers is constituted at the beginning of the school year and partially renewed during the year.
