Career counselling

Career counselling

The LFO helps students with the processes and choices involved in pursuing higher education.

The careers adviser/psychologist assists all students when planning their career paths, in collaboration with their parents and teachers.

The careers counselling service aims to

  • Make students proactive in their career path choices by reflecting on their future studies
  • Assess students in terms of their abilities, motivations, personal qualities and ambitions
  • Help students find the information they need to be able to orientate themselves in all the courses and careers available
  • Maintain close contact with schools and universities worldwide in order to best guide students in their career choices and in the registration process
  • Arrange events (meetings, careers fair, video conferences and so on) and classroom sessions throughout the year to help support students in their individual projects for higher education
  • Assist students with their applications

Organised every year, the aim of this forum is to help our students discover careers and sectors in order to build their future plans and provide a concrete answer to their questions.

Agora, Network of secondary school students and former students of the French sector

AGORA is a platform that brings together students and former students from AEFE schools all over the world.

It’s a forum where students and former students can ask each other questions about a school, a course or student life in a particular country….

The AGORA Monde platform also supports the ADN mobility programme, in which the LFO participates and which enables pupils in Seconde to go on exchange for a few weeks to another AEFE school taking part in this programme.
