An international network

The French School in Oslo is a part of an international network of 492 schools in 140 countries worldwide called the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE).

France and Norway have signed a bilateral agreement which enables our students to continue their studies in any school in Norway. The excellent academic record of our students allows them to apply to some of the best schools and universities in the world.

Founded in 1990, AEFE is a public French administrative body under the supervision of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development (MAEDI).

The accreditation issued by the Ministry certifies the compliance of teaching with the requirements, programs, educational objectives and organizational rules of the French education system.
