The LFO joins the UNESCO network

This year, the Student Council (CVL) worked to highlight the projects carried out within our school in support of the Sustainable Development Goals as part of our UNESCO initiative.

Promoting equality, ensuring access to education, protecting oceans and biodiversity, and tackling climate change are among the key themes explored by our teams and students throughout the year.

The presentation of this work during a special meeting with Mr. Stien Olsen, Skole- og utviklingssjef at FN-sambandet, and Ms. Desvignes, former Deputy Permanent Delegate of France to UNESCO, led to the official recognition of our school’s membership in the UNESCO Associated Schools Network.

This achievement is a great source of pride for the student representatives of the CVL and for the entire school community. Within this new framework, we will continue to develop meaningful projects and hope to share our experience with other schools across the Scandinavian network.
