Today four of our LFO students participated in the final of the International Language Competition of Scandinavia in Spanish.
They represented the southwestern region of Norway. Our students Maya Apostolova-Leite, Maia Caetano-Langfelt (for middle school) and Allegra Coles as well as Emma Thompsen (for high school) won first prize in this international competition with honorable results.
Last year 13,500 participants in Norway registered, this year the number of participants is just as high.
This year, the French high school in Oslo is the best high school in Norway. Our school is taking part in this competition for the first time and will receive the two trophies in the two categories for the year 2021.
The students obtained prizes such as a scholarship to study in Spain, plane tickets and fees paid to travel to the course, as well as dictionaries, novels in Spanish and other surprises.
Our school will also receive numerous prizes that will be accessible to all.
