On Friday 10 February, the MAT5 and MAT6 classes celebrated 100 days of school!
This was the culmination of the “Every day counts” project. This daily ritual enabled pupils to count every school day from the start of the school year to the 100th day, exchanging ten units for a ten and then ten tens for a hundred.
On this day, many activities took place around the number 100 (the 100-day monster, a collection of 100 pits painted in 10 different colours in a pot, the number 100 written in date pits, a snail shell made from 100 pips, a snowflake made from 100 corks, a clown with 100 balloons, 100 fingers, etc.).
The teachers took advantage of the day to read the album “The 100-storey house”.
Finally, each pupil was invited to bring his or her collection of 100 objects.
This is how we ended up with :
- a collection of 100 pieces of pasta
