How can two neighbourhoods in the same city offer such different realities?
This year, Year 6 and Year 10 pupils carried out a genuine sociological field study to gain a better understanding of the dynamics of two neighbourhoods in Oslo.
Through observations, meetings with local residents and discussions with various experts, they discovered how history, urban planning, economic activities and even perceptions influence life in a neighbourhood.
This video traces their approach, their discoveries and the lessons learnt from this cross-year project, which enabled the pupils to develop their analytical skills, their curiosity and their perspective on the city around them.
