The 4ème students embark on the Wind4Kids adventure!
On Tuesday, October 1st, our 4ème students had the opportunity to become young renewable energy experts during their technology class, thanks to the Wind4Kids project organized at the Lycée Français d’Oslo.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. François Renaud and his two colleagues, Hanna Bjørshol and Tarjei Tellefsen, all engineers at Seaway7, for this fantastic partnership, which allowed our students to discover the fascinating world of wind turbines.
After a quick presentation on how renewable energy works, our young budding engineers got hands-on! Their mission? To build small-scale wind turbines while considering the perfect blade orientation to maximize energy production. In just one hour, each group brainstormed ideas… and got their wind turbines spinning!
The result: fun and educational sessions that combined learning with enjoyment. A successful first experience, which we look forward to building on in the months to come. Congratulations to our students for their enthusiasm and creativity!
