Return of the talking groups

The talking and speech groups are back in secondary school. The main goal of this groups is to give to our students a space where they can talk freely with some little borders.

To participate in this differents workshops, some clear rules have been established :

  • Some adults are present, being here to give a kind and neutral listening and understanding to help everyone to be authentic and true.
  • Students have to listen, not judge, respect the differents feelings and emotions of the others so they can share their reflexions, experiences and interrogations.

This setting help the complicity and confidence and help to talk about differents themes on new angles and points of views. This workshops are here also to help developing the psychosocial skills like empathy, self confidence, listening and communication.

This speech and talking groups help to develop well-being and to develop the feeling of belonging in our students.

For this year, our first group was focusing on the 6e, with the theme of “What is an evaluation and what is the purpose of homework ?”

Miss Claude DARAM, well-being adviser, organise and lead the workshops and help the different students to talk and include themselves in the debate.

For this first workshop on homework and evaluation, Miss Monceyron and Miss Simon (teachers) were here to answer the interrogations and questions of our students while sharing a friendly moment.
