The LFO 6e2 class was invited to Paris this Monday for the final round and award ceremony of the French National Children’s Parliament (Parlement des Enfants)!
After several months of work on their proposed law, our students had the opportunity to discover the inner workings of the French National Assembly and take part in a real parliamentary session. Each finalist class was even given the chance to ask a question to a minister or to the President of the National Assembly.
Although they did not win this year’s competition, they return home with something just as valuable: an exceptional civic experience and unforgettable memories.
The trip also provided an opportunity to discover some of Paris’s iconic landmarks, including Monet’s Water Lilies, Montmartre and the banks of the Seine.
Congratulations to the students of 6e2 for their commitment and dedication throughout this project. Being selected among the national finalists is a remarkable achievement and a testament to their hard work.
A special thank you as well to their French teacher, Mrs Monceyron, and our Student Life Coordinator, Mrs Lamole, who guided the project with enthusiasm and care.
