As part of the French-language Outdoor Classroom Week, a large number of our primary school students were able to tenjoy the library outside the walls of Skovveien by venturing into Slottsparken!
It was the perfect opportunity to learn more about the trees, birds, insects and plants that surround them. To help them with this task, they brought along a few books from the library 🙂
On the secondary school side, the 4eme1s took advantage of this activity in a cross-curricular lesson with Sport and Maths!
The goal? To do an orienteering race and then stop at each marker to calculate the distance they had covered, using the map and the scale, and to measure the time needed to cover this distance, as well as calculating their running speed.
