A welcoming French-speaking community in the center of Oslo
The Lycée français d’Oslo (LFO), established in 1961, offers personalized educational guidance in French to over 650 students from preschool through high school.
We offer a wide range of scientific, sporting and cultural activities, in an inclusive, international environment of academic excellence and rigor. Our students also learn Norwegian and English in the early years, followed by German and Spanish from middle school onwards. Within the AEFE network, which includes 600 schools in 138 countries, they take part in educational projects that offer them unique and enriching opportunities to work, exchange ideas and travel.
They follow the official French curriculum and prepare for national exams such as the Diplôme National du Brevet and the Baccalauréat – recognized worldwide. They then have all the keys they need to continue their studies at the best universities.
The LFO is accredited by the Agence de l’Enseignement Français à l’Etranger and the Norwegian Ministry of Education.
